Lekan Ewenla was appointed the Managing Director/CEO of Ultimate Health Management Services at the take off point of the company. He is saddled with the day to day operations, strategic direction, overall performance of the organization and its long term growth agenda. He is also a strategic investor and member of the Board of Directors.
He has Masters in Communication Arts from the University of Ibadan and has attended several seminars, workshop, conferences and symposium on healthcare financing in United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America, Kenya and other Countries. He is a fellow of the Association of Corporate Governance Professionals of Nigeria, a member of Institute of Directors, a member of Nigeria Computer Society and a member of Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
From 1992 to 1995 he was the Group Head, Corporate Planning and Media Buying at Grandeur Communications Ltd and later became the General Manager/CEO in 1996 till 2004. He joined Clearline International Ltd HMO as Assistant General Manager, Marketing in 2004 and after a year moved to Prepaid Medicare Services Ltd HMO as the pioneer Chief Operating Officer up until 2007 when he became the Managing Director/CEO at Ultimate Health Management Services Limited.
He possesses outstanding understanding and excellent experience in managed care/health care financing. His core competencies are product development/strategic marketing, innovation and relationship management. He has developed several research based customized healthcare products for quite a number of sub-sectors of the economy. He is an entrepreneur and a business development expert with over twenty-five years’ experience in the corporate world.

Lekan Ewenla is at present, the spokesman for Health and Managed Care Association of Nigeria, HMCAN, the umbrella association of NHIS accredited health maintenance organizations in Nigeria and was appointed in March 2018 as a member of the Governing Council of National Health Insurance Scheme, NHIS. He is a member of IBB Golf Club in Abuja. He is married with children.



Ms. Nseobong Akpan is the Company Secretary/ Legal Adviser of Ultimate Health Management Services Limited. She holds an LLM degree from the University of Lagos, Lagos State and is called to the Nigerian Bar.

She is a consummate professional with vast expertise in the Corporate Legal Practice, Company Secretarial Practice and Arbitration. Her experience spans through the various sectors of the Nigerian economy including Health Insurance & Healthcare Management, ICT, Oil & Gas, Finance & Capital Market and Property & Facilities Management. Her experience also extends to Corporate Governance, Administration, Regulatory and Compliance Advisory and Consultancy.
Ms. Nseobong is a member of many professional bodies including, The Nigerian Bar Association, The International Bar Association, The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN), Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Nigeria and The Nigerian Computer Society

She has attended many courses and seminars both within and outside Nigeria. Ms Akpan is happily married and loves to read and volunteer in community services.



Femi Ogunleye is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He has about seventeen years post qualification experience in Banking, Financial Planning/Management, Financial Control, Auditing & Investigation, Cost Control and Investment Analysis.

Femi holds a BSc. degree in Accounting from Ogun State University, Ago Iwoye, Nigeria and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (with specialty in Finance) from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State, Nigeria.

He worked with the First Bank of Nigeria Plc for fifteen years where he served in several strategic capacities, departments and branches. He thereafter moved to Beachland Resources Nig Ltd as Head, Finance & Administration. He oversees the operations of the Finance & Accounts department of Ultimate Health Management Services Ltd and ensures the company’s strict compliance with statutory regulatory requirements.
Femi is also a member of other professional bodies such as Nigerian Institute of Management and the Institute of Data Processing Management of Nigeria. He is happily married with children.



Jummai Olowoleni works for Ultimate Health Management Services as the Head of Human Resources and Administration and double as the Executive Assistant to the Managing Director/CEO.

Jummai is an Accountant by profession, a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, ICAN and a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, CIPM, with over Eighteen years post qualification experience.

She started her career with Olabisi Fayombo & Co. Chartered Accountants, Ibadan as an Audit staff. In 2002 she moved to Habitat Associates (firm of Architects) as an Accountant for 4years, and held the position of Manager, Accounts/Admin for another 4 years. She volunteered as the Executive Director at JOF Abuja and was nominated to serve as a committee member on the FCT adoption and fostering committee. She later returned to Habitat Associates in August 2016 as Head of Accounts/Admin/Executive Assistant to the Principal Partner before joining Ultimate Health Management services in January 2018.



Yashim Dogara is a graduate of Statistics from Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos State, Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from Delta State University, Abraka, Postgraduate Diploma in Business Studies from Albion College, United Kingdom, Level 7 Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Management from Stratford Academy, United Kingdom and MBA Finance from Anglia Ruskin University, United Kingdom.
Yashim has been in the organized private sector for over 18 years majorly in the Business Development and Marketing in the Communication and Information Technology sector of the Economy. He has attended various courses including Strategic Marketing, Business Management principle in workshops and seminars both home and abroad. Yashim is married with children.



Dr. Esiri Umukoro is an astute, intelligent, hardworking and innovative medical practitioner with outstanding experience in both managed care and clinical practice.
Esiri graduated from the University of Port Harcourt in 2010 with a Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery and he proceeded to the Federal Medical Centre, Yenagoa in Bayelsa state for his internship, He did his one year mandatory National Youth Service Programme in Alafia Kwara Hospital, Iyana Bacita, Moro LGA of Kwara State. He thereafter proceeded to Federal Medical Centre, Azare, Bauchi State as a Medical Officer, first in the General Out Patient Department and then in the Accident and Emergency Department as a casualty officer.
With a strong appetite for self-improvement and learning, he proceeded to pursue a Masters in Pharmacology at the prestigious Glasgow Caledonian University in the UK. He graduated with a high merit and was also awarded the prize for the best research work in the Faculty of Life Sciences in 2015.
On his return to Nigeria in 2016, he took up appointment with Ultimate Health Management Services as a Medical and Quality Assurance Officer for Lagos and the South Western Region and rose to the position of Head, State and Community Based Health Insurance Programme having successfully anchored the Oyo State Health Insurance Programme for the organization.



Amaka Nomeson is responsible for Underwriting and Relationship Management at Ultimate Health Management Services Limited. She is quite passionate about patient safety, relationship management, customer satisfaction and retention, and possesses outstanding experience in risk management especially in healthcare financing. She is a graduate of University of Abuja with over 12 years working experience.

This Unit is under the Marketing /Business Development Department and its activities are overseen by the Senior Manager/Head, Marketing/Business Development.

Prior to joining Ultimate Health Management Services Limited, Amaka has worked with Clearline HMO as Head of Clients Service, Precious HMO as Senior Clients Service Officer and at Novo Health Africa as Regional Manager, Abuja/North.

A prolific Insurance Professional with many years of experience in defining, building and optimizing best-in-class delivery in underwriting, insurance and risk management within the Health Insurance space. She is happily married with children.



She holds a bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science from the University of Port Harcourt. She is a registered Nurse-Midwife and Public Health Nurse, with exceptional commitment to professional standards, ethical conduct, corporate governance and best practice.

As the Head of Claims Management unit, she oversees and ensue prompt vetting and settling of all bills. She also ensures proper narration of all vetted bills to all concerned facilities to eliminate confusion and misconception. She has worked with Living Word Mission Hospital Aba, Abia State and KBL Healthcare Ltd Abuja before joining Ultimate Health Management Services Limited.

She has undergone some performance enhancement training programmes amongst which are: Effective Claims Management in Managed Care and Effective Customer Relationship Management and Call Centre Management.



Adekunle Ewenla is a tested and confirmed strategic Business Development and Marketing expert and a pioneer Non-Executive Director on the Board of Ultimate Health Management Services Limited.
Kunle started his academic pathway with a Bachelors degree in Marketing from Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State Nigeria; after which he temporarily relocated to Canada to gain more academic and diverse experience. In 2017, he completed his master’s programme in Business Administration at the University Canada West, Vancouver. He also has a degree from the Wharton Business School in Business Analytics, which is quiet strategic to the systematic expansion of our business as there is dearth of data in the industry and the country.
In an attempt to broaden his horizon, Kunle also had a stint with 141 Worldwide Marketing Communication Company in the Visual and Creative Design Department and he is abundantly blessed with ability to think out of the box, ability to drive, analyse and take decisive decisions with uppermost attention on quality, details, trendy/global branding/packaging standards and best practice.



Mary Ezigbo-Okafor is the Head, Call Centre Unit under the Medical/Quality Assurance Department. Mary is a graduate of Micro Biology from the University of Abuja, she also holds an MSc degree in Environmental Biology from the same University, with four publications in the New York Journal of Science (2010) and Direct Research Journal of Public Health and Environmental Technology (2018).
