Mallam Dahiru Muhammad, FCIB became the Chairman, Board of Directors of Ultimate Health Management Services Limited in 2011. As the Chairman of the Board of Directors, he leads the strategic policy formulation responsibilities of the Board for the steady growth of the company. The Board under his leadership also ensures that the company works on the side of the law at all times.
He is also the Chairman of Ardo Investments Ltd and Rich Flour Mills (WA) Ltd, Kaduna and a Non-Executive Director, Central Bank of Nigeria. Prior to these appointments, Mallam Dahiru Muhammad, a seasoned banker, was from 1989 – 1994, the founding Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of New Africa Merchant Bank, a bank which he nurtured to become one of the most profitable and most capitalized in the merchant banking subsector of banking in Nigeria. He was elected into the fellowship of Chartered Institute of Banker’s of Nigeria in 1993. He is also a fellow of the African-American Institute, New York, USA.
Mallam Dahiru Mohammad was also the Chairman, Board of Directors of Abplast Products Plc, Newdevco Finance Service Company Ltd and Adamawa Investment and Property Development Company Ltd.
He is a graduate of Economics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria and an alumna of the Postgraduate School, Vanderbilt University, Nashville Tennessee, USA for his Master’s degree in Economics.
Mallam Dahiru Muhammad is a prolific writer with several publications. He is currently a member of Nigeria Economic Society, American Economic Association, Southern Economic Association both in the United States of America and the Nigerian Institute of Management. He is happily married with children.
Lekan Ewenla was appointed the Managing Director/CEO of Ultimate Health Management Services at the take off point of the company. He is saddled with the day to day operations, strategic direction, overall performance of the organization and its long term growth agenda. He is also a strategic investor and member of the Board of Directors.
He has Masters in Communication Arts from the University of Ibadan and has attended several seminars, workshop, conferences and symposium on healthcare financing in United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America, Kenya and other Countries. He is a fellow of the Association of Corporate Governance Professionals of Nigeria, a member of Institute of Directors, a member of Nigeria Computer Society and a member of Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
From 1992 to 1995 he was the Group Head, Corporate Planning and Media Buying at Grandeur Communications Ltd and later became the General Manager/CEO in 1996 till 2004. He joined Clearline International Ltd HMO as Assistant General Manager, Marketing in 2004 and after a year moved to Prepaid Medicare Services Ltd HMO as the pioneer Chief Operating Officer up until 2007 when he became the Managing Director/CEO at Ultimate Health Management Services Limited.
He possesses outstanding understanding and excellent experience in managed care/health care financing. His core competencies are product development/strategic marketing, innovation and relationship management. He has developed several research based customized healthcare products for quite a number of sub-sectors of the economy. He is an entrepreneur and a business development expert with over twenty-five years’ experience in the corporate world.
Lekan Ewenla is at present, the spokesman for Health and Managed Care Association of Nigeria, HMCAN, the umbrella association of NHIS accredited health maintenance organizations in Nigeria and was appointed in March 2018 as a member of the Governing Council of National Health Insurance Scheme, NHIS. He is a member of IBB Golf Club in Abuja. He is married with children.
Engr. Mohammed Sani Alhassan, is a graduate of Civil Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria and was appointed a Non-Executive Director on the board of Ultimate Health Management Services Ltd in 2009. He worked in different capacities as an engineer and in June 2004 rose to the rank of Executive Secretary of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA). In 2007, he was the Chairman of Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) Transition Committee overseeing the activities of Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) and FCTA pending the appointment of a substantive Minister.
An engineer par excellence, Engr. Alhassan is a Fellow of Nigeria Society of Engineers and a member of several other professional bodies such as the Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN) and Nigerian Institute of Management. He has attended several seminars/conferences on Environmental and Waste Management Issues, Infrastructure Development and the Environment and Public Private Partnership.
In recognition of his immense service to his fatherland, President Umaru Musa Yar ‘Adua bestowed on him in 2008, the national honours award of Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR).
Alhaji Ladi Ogunneye is an outstanding computer engineer,astute investor and a pioneer Non-Executive Director on the Board of Ultimate Health Management Services Limited. He is a fellow of both the Nigeria Computer Society and the Institute of Directors, Nigeria. He was the past president of Nigeria Computer Society, the past Provost of College of Fellows and Council Member, Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria, CPN. He was the past Chairman IT and Telecoms Committee of the Institute of Directors, IoD.
A Rotarian, past President and a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International. He has Associate Degree in Aircraft Electronics from the Academy of Aeronautics (New York University), USA. He has B.Sc degree in Biomedical Engineering, from University of Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA and M.Sc degree in Computer and Information Science from the University of New Haven, Connecticut USA.
He started his career in 1965 as a bank teller with Standard Bank Nigeria Limited (now First Bank of Nigeria), and in 1974, he joined General Electric, Bridgeport Connecticut as a Computer Technologist. After working for two years, he joined E.I. Dupont Inc. Newtown, Connecticut as a Computer Design Engineer, and was involved in the design of Microcomputers as controls in medical equipment.
In 1981 he returned to Nigeria and joined Data Sciences Nigeria Limited as a Service Engineer and rose to the rank of Managing Director until his retirement in 2011. He is presently consulting on large scale Data Entry Projects. He is married with children.
Ms. Nseobong Akpan is the Company Secretary/ Legal Adviser of Ultimate Health Management Services Limited. She holds an LLM degree from the University of Lagos, Lagos State and is called to the Nigerian Bar.
She is a consummate professional with vast expertise in the Corporate Legal Practice, Company Secretarial Practice and Arbitration. Her experience spans through the various sectors of the Nigerian economy including Health Insurance & Healthcare Management, ICT, Oil & Gas, Finance & Capital Market and Property & Facilities Management. Her experience also extends to Corporate Governance, Administration, Regulatory and Compliance Advisory and Consultancy.
Ms. Nseobong is a member of many professional bodies including, The Nigerian Bar Association, The International Bar Association, The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN), Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Nigeria and The Nigerian Computer Society
She has attended many courses and seminars both within and outside Nigeria. Ms Akpan is happily married and loves to read and volunteer in community services.
Nasiru Abbas Aliyu is an astute businessman with investment in different sectors of the economy. He is a highly motivated and dedicated individual with solid knowledge of Health Insurance. He has a B.Sc. and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from SMC University in Switzerland in 2008.
IN 2007 he became the Director of Operations in First Real Properties Ltd, and in 2008, he became the Managing Director of Naebass Integrated Services Ltd. In 2009 he became the Executive Director of Development Partners Ltd. In 2018 he became the Managing Director of Naebass Security Nigeria Ltd and the Executive Vice Chairman of Naebass Investment and Property
Development Company Ltd. He loves Tennis and likes to travel.
Mrs. Angela Ajala, a seasoned educationist is the Executive Director, Ladela Schools, Abuja. She is a pioneer investor and a Non-Executive Director on the board of Ultimate Health Management Services Limited. She is also a Member, Board of Trustees, Business and Professional Women in Nigeria, National President, African Entrepreneurship Programme and an Advisory Member of Board, Enterprise Development Centre, Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos, Nigeria.
Mrs. Angela Ajala is a graduate of English in both first and second degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, North West Nigeria. She equally possessed an Advanced Certificate in Leadership from the Leadership Training Institute, Singapore.

Architect Thomas Awagu joined the Board of Ultimate Health Management Services Limited as an Independent Non-Executive Director in 2015. He brings to the Board about thirty-five years post qualification professional work experience from both public and private sector of the economy. Architect Awagu founded Pyramids Design (now Pyramids Plc – consultants in architecture, engineering, procurement, project management & cost estimation) in 1980 and has since then, been the Managing Partner of the company with overall responsibility for policy, design and project management.
Arch. Awagu is the Chairman of Elka Investments Ltd and Pressto Cleaning Services Ltd. He is also a Non-Executive Director in several companies such as Ecobank Ltd, Ghana, New Horizons Computer Learning Systems Ltd, Odade Investments Ltd, Aluminium Technologies Ltd and Abuja Investments Company Ltd. He was at several period a Non-Executive Director of First Alliance Pensions & Benefits Ltd, Resort Securities & Trust Ltd and DVCF Oil & Gas Plc.
Arch. Adekunle Ewenla is a tested and confirmed strategic Business Development and Marketing expert and a pioneer Non-Executive Director on the Board of Ultimate Health Management Services Limited.
Kunle started his academic pathway with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State Nigeria; after which he temporarily relocated to Canada to gain more academic and diverse experience. In 2017, he completed his Master’s programme in Business Administration at the University Canada West, Vancouver. He also has a degree from the Wharton Business School in Business Analytics, which is quite strategic to the systematic expansion of our business as there is dearth of data in the industry and the country.
In an attempt to broaden his horizon, Kunle also had a stint with 141 Worldwide Marketing Communication Company in the Visual and Creative Design Department and he is abundantly blessed with ability to think out of the box, ability to drive, analyse and take decisive decisions with uppermost attention on quality, details, trendy/global branding/packaging standards and best practice.
