Job Description

  • To constantly provide properly defined primary healthcare services and professionally analyze service utilization to determine disease pattern.
  • To establish friendly and very cordial relationship with the enrollees and healthcare providers at all times.
  • To constantly follow-up on all treated enrollees to ensure the utilization of prescribed medication and quick recovery.
  • To constantly liaise with the HOD of the Medical/Quality Assurance Department for treatment update and referral cases.
  • To ensure that all provided medical and working tools are in good working condition and well maintained.
  • To constantly develop preventive health tips materials.
  • To constantly contribute to the development of attractive and marketable health care products for the organization.
  • To ensure that all the enrollees receive the best care obtainable, especially critical/complicated cases in need of multi-specialist care through prompt referral to the appointed facilities.
  • To anchor presentations at stakeholders’ interactive sessions whenever you may be required to do so.
  • To randomly analyze and review care give to enrollees when necessary.
  • To perform all other ad-hoc duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
  • Candidate must be a registered nurse, midwife or possess B.Sc. in Nursing.
  • Additional medical training qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years medical experience out of which 2 years must be in similar role in a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) or Healthcare facility.
  • Candidate must have Clinical or General Nursing and Health Insurance Call Centre experience.
  • Candidate must have a fair knowledge of NHIS operational guidelines, Clinical Best Practices and Health Insurance operational models.
  • Excellent emotional intelligence, good and effective verbal and written communication prowess with ability to decode messages and work with little supervision.
  • Candidate must be very proficient in Microsoft office packages.
  • Candidate must be a good team player.
  • Candidate must be very flexible and innovative.
 

Position: Head, Finance & Account
Location: Abuja
Job Description


  • You are expected to report to the Managing Director/CEO.
  • You are expected to Head, and manage the day to day activities of the Finance and Accounts Department.
  • You are expected to anchor the payment of healthcare facilities both on-line and off-line; and also send confirmation of payment to all concerned.
  • You are expected to handle the preparation of Management Accounts.
  • You are expected to constantly offer sound financial and investment opportunities advice to the management.
  • You are expected to handle the preparation of Bank Reconciliation regularly.
  • You are expected to safeguard company’s asset/management of Fixed Asset Register.
  • You are expected to attend general and departmental meetings.
  • You are expected to monitor bank transactions and status regularly.
  • You are expected to co-ordinate raising of cheques and recording same in the appropriate schedule.
  • You are expected to delegate duties to other staff in the Finance and Accounts department and ensure timely deliverance.
  • You are expected to handle regular rendition of bank position to the management.
  • You are expected to anchor or co-ordinate the preparation and payment of monthly salaries with payslip given to all staff.
  • You are expected to handle preparation of company annual budget and proper monitoring of its implementation.
  • You are expected to handle the preparation of annual financial statements.
  • You are expected to submit report on half year account to the Management.
  • You are expected to establish, maintain, coordinate and monitor the implementation of accounting control.
  • You are expected to liaise with FIRS, PFA’s, NHIS, HMCAN and other statutory bodies and ensure the organisation maintain good working relationship with them all.
  • You are expected to liaise and prepare annual report and account for the external auditors.
  • You are expected to receive all payments due to the company, manage credits and receivables.
  • You are expected to handle the general management of the office financial activities.
  • You are expected to ensure that all cheques and cash received are banked intact same day or the following day maximum.
  • You are expected to ensure that no payment is made out of cash takings.
  • You are expected to ensure that payments are backed by Payment Vouchers and supporting documents.
  • You are expected to constantly ensure that loans and advances are properly approved and are retired in line with approved plan.
  • You are expected to maintain an imprest system for petty cash transactions.
  • You are expected to handle all other duties that may be assigned to you by the Management.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a University Degree or Higher National Diploma in either Accounting. A relevant Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
  • Must be a registered member of the accounting professional body and possess professionally recognized Accountancy qualifications and certifications in any of the following: ICAN or ANAN, ACA, ACMA, CPA, ACCA.
  • Must possess a minimum of 7 – 10 years cognate working experience. Experience in a similar industry will be an added advantage.
  • Must possess a minimum of 3 – 4 years of leadership/management experience and/or demonstrated leadership track record of technical teams.
  • Must be proficient in relevant accounting software and versatile in computer usage.
  • Must be between the ages of 35 – 45 years and physically and medically fit.
  • Able to demonstrate good organizational and leadership skills and able to multi-task effectively.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
